Overview of the Role

Responsible for several roles, including administering the global mobility program for expats and assignees, compensation plans, including 401(k) and variable compensation arrangements. Preparation of tax schedules and reports related to these areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Global Mobility administration. In partnership with HR, coordinate and administer tax and accounting aspects of global mobility program. Work with outside service providers (tax and relocation) to properly report for tax and accounting purposes. Help address payroll tax risks and reporting obligations for globally-mobile employees.

  • Prepare reporting to support corporate tax deferred tax calculations associated with share plans.

  • Work closely with both internal and external auditors to respond to requests which may include running and preparing reports and analyzing the data.

  • As a member of the finance team, work closely with other members of HR, Payroll, Accounting, Legal, Tax and Compliance teams.

  • Assists with Board compensation and reporting obligations

  • Participates in special projects as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities


Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax

  • Experience with multinational organizations and working knowledge of managing international assignee populations.

  • 4+ years’ experience in accounting, tax, or a related field required.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Intermediate knowledge of HRIS systems (i.e. Access, SAP, etc.).

  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed process documents.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.

  • Knowledge of accounting, tax and payroll requirements associated with stock plan administration.

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:

  • Annual Performance Appraisal

  • Completion of all assigned Compliance training
