Overview of the Role

Supporting the Business Finance team and Management Information team to effectively support business teams, Senior Management and the Exco with:

  • End to end financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

  • Expense and headcount reporting

  • Transaction analysis and investigation

  • Decision support analysis with financial modelling

  • Provide input in to the production of Management Information reports for Senior Management and Exco

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The role and value added by a management information and Business Finance team.

  • How financial forecasts and budgets are put together and managed for a global company and how those budgets are controlled.

  • How to work well and efficiently within a global organisation with a team around the world.

  • The different information requirements and requests from senior management, the Exco and the Board.

  • Approaches to financial modelling using data from multiple sources and presenting in a way appropriate for the audience.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Confident and professional individual able to liaise with all levels of seniority

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Discretion; will be dealing with sensitive information on a daily basis which must be kept confidential

  • Good Excel / PowerPoint / Word knowledge an advantage

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:

  • Annual Performance Appraisal

  • Completion of all assigned Compliance training

Working Environment/Physical Activities

  • PC usage up to 100% of the time.

  • Office equipment such as telephone, copier, and fax machines, etc.

  • Cellular phone and/or digital pager may be required.

  • Overtime and weekend hours may be required.
